Manuscript Guidelines

Manuscripts must…

  • Be double-spaced throughout (including references).
  • Not exceed 30 pages including references. Occasionally, a longer manuscript may be considered.
  • Provide, but do not count, a cover page with each author’s name, credentials, position, email, place of employment, and a clear abstract of essential information of up to 100 words.
  • Include all contributing authors names and identifying information on the manuscript. IABS will scrub identifying information prior to all manuscripts blind peer-review.

Writing Guidelines

When writing

  • Manuscripts must be prepared carefully, such that ideas flow coherently and writing is clear and concise. Avoid jargon, acronyms, and sexist terminology.
  • Use headings and subheadings to structure the content. Article titles and headings in the articles should be as short as possible.
  • Use tables sparingly, include only essential data, and combine tables wherever possible. Authors should submit no more than three tables or two figures with each manuscript.
  • The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association serves as the style manual for IABS. Authors are encouraged to reduce bias in language against persons on the basis of gender, sexual orientation, racial or ethnic group, disability, or age by referring to the guidelines in the seventh (or later) edition of the APA manual.

Copyright Submission Guide

  • Authors who use lengthy quotations or adapt tables and figures from another source are responsible for obtaining proper permission to do so from the copyrighted source.
  • Authors are held responsible for manuscripts that include copyrighted material, IABS may request the author provides the editor with written permission from the copyright holder.
  • Never submit material that is under consideration by another journal or that has been previously published unless the author has retained publishing rights.

Manuscript Submission

There are no fees to submit a manuscript. In order to be included in a journal publication use the contact/submission to submit your request with your subject, proposed title, research area, and at least a 100 word abstract of the proposed paper.

Your Manuscript/Article should be added by selecting the drop box in the contact us / submission form. 

We endeavor to provide rapid and informative feedback to authors within four (4) weeks of the initial paper submission. We look forward to receiving your quality submission.

Authors are invited to submit theoretical and empirical papers in all categories of business such as e-business, general management, international business, strategy, marketing, supply chain management, organization studies, entrepreneurship, enterprise, innovation and human resource management to the Business Journal.

Theoretical and empirical papers in all categories of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics as they apply to a form, fit or function would be submitted to the STEM Journal.

Theoretical and empirical papers in all categories of Healthcare such as case studies, complementary care, alternative care, traditional care, nursing, medical development, and physician capability.

We also welcome student thesis and doctoral dissertations as well as feedback discussions regarding clearly cited published works.

This list is not meant to be exhaustive, but rather an indication of the areas of concern for each of the Journals.

We welcome paper submissions on the basis that the material has not been published elsewhere. We also aim to develop journals that will appeal to both individuals and practitioners. On that basis, papers that include practical applications to any of the above journal areas are welcomed.
